MEDIA BRIGHTON LTD – Privacy Notice
We are Media Brighton Limited and the person responsible for data protection is Annelies Simon. You can reach her (and Ben Simon) on info@mediabrighton.com. Apart from producing awesome video content, we’re also committed to keeping your personal data safe and secure. And here’s how we do that…
What type of personal data do we hold, where and why?
When you visit our website, like what you see, and fill out an enquiry form; we’ll keep your contact details so we can follow up on your enquiry. They are stored in password protected online apps as well as our secure server. We do the same when you email us or phone us up to ask about making videos or working with us.
Google Analytics and Cookies
We use Google Analytics to track visitors to our website and track their behaviour so that we can improve our website. Many (if not most) websites you visit will do this and any information is processed without actually identifying anyone. We do not use cookies on our website.
How long do we keep your data and how do / don’t we use it?
Whether we do eventually work together or not (although we hope we do!), we may hang on to your details in case we want to check in later to see how your video production is going or to follow up with a job opportunity. Don’t worry, we won’t add you to a newsletter list and start sending you regular marketing, we may just send you a one off email in the future. We will also never pass your details on to anyone outside of the business, publish your data anywhere or use it for automated decision making and profiling, i.e. in automated marketing.
Who can you contact about the data we hold?
If at any time you want to access, correct or delete the data we hold of you, just email info@mediabrighton.com and Annelies will get back to you within 48 hours. Simple!
We have to tell you as well that if you’re not happy and want to complain to the ICO, just visit this link: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/– although please do first email us with any concerns you may have – we’re happy to help!
