We’re a small team with many talents...
...for you, that means a full video production service with a personal touch.Making videos isn’t just about picking up a camera and pressing ‘record’. It can involve turning your messages into video-friendly scripts, presenting or voice over recording, storyboarding ideas and animating them, adding music and more. While most video production houses have to outsource several of those services, we’re different.
Our core team is made up of an experienced video director & editor/music producer & writer/design & marketing guru husband and a seasoned copywriter/presenter/voice over artist & vocalist/pr professional wife. Between us, we can turn your messages into scripts, present them, record the voice over and even write and record custom music or jingles in our music studio. For everything else, we use our talented pool of freelancers.
Our clients love this, because fully getting your message across is so much easier and more personal with a small team. The workflow is fluid, tweaking ideas is much more flexible and cutting down on outsourcing times cuts down on costs too!

Ben Simon
Creative Director, Producer, Cameraman, Editor, Photography, 3D & 2D animation.

Ben has been active in the video world since the late 90’s when he was commissioned to work on a promo video for Jaguar. With a degree in Multimedia under his belt, he eventually went on to form Media Brighton, which has evolved from the all-encompassing creative agency it was then, to the video production company it is today. During his video career, he has produced videos for Nokia & Michelin worked as a co-producer for IEX (aired on the Extreme Channel and Sky Sports) and edited projects for BP and the bank BNP Paribar. A self-confessed video geek, his brain acts as a sponge for anything video-production related and as such, his video tool-box is always expanding. Ben loves thinking on his feet and squeezing the most out of every filming moment. To satisfy his creative streak, he writes and produces his own music, which often finds its way into his videos. He’s produced an award winning short film. When doing neither of the above, Ben likes to let off steam kitesurfing or snowboarding and regularly captures high octane sports footage with his GoPro strapped to his craft or body.

Annelies Simon (Van de Velde) studied Product Design at the University of Brighton, before turning her creative talents to writing and presenting. Having worked as an Online PR Consultant & Copywriter at leading search agency Propellernet and as a freelancer, she’s written copy and scripts for leading brands such as Animal, Mark Warner and Family Investment. An experienced singer and performer, she also brings an elegant and energetic presence to the screen as a presenter and voice over artist. Currently a presenter on the online Kite Show, she’s appeared on the Extreme Sports Channel and in a more corporate role for dotDigital, Brokerfish.com and others. Her voice has appeared on national TV adverts, is regularly used in Media Brighton videos and can be heard when she performs with electro-pop band KOVAK. She has a natural knack for organising, but also enjoys letting her hair down kitesurfing and snowboarding on days off.
We were extremely pleased with Ben – he was super easy to work with, we enjoyed working with him and appreciated the tips he provided.
